Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.

What in the WORLD? This winter is NUTS! I can never remember having a true winter in Texas, and I can honestly say that I’ll welcome the Spring feeling satisfied. On the Tuesday after Christmas, we had our third snow of the season. And, it came down in SHEETS! I don’t remember ever seeing so much snow falling from the sky----SO BEAUTIFUL! So, when Quinn woke up from his nap, we got him all bundled up and headed outdoors to enjoy our own little version of a Winter Wonderland. Sadly, not as much was on the ground as it seemed there would be, but there was still enough to throw, play in and build a tiny little snowman. It was so fun and so pretty…but, SOOOO cold! Quinn had a great time----for a while. But, after a meltdown because his snowman didn’t have a smile (don’t worry, we got him one) and when he started to not be able to feel his fingers, things went south very quickly. He was ready to go inside, take off his wet clothes and wrap up in a blanket next to the fire with Mommy. The tears didn’t stop for about 10 minutes, but dried up when his fingers regained their normal color! :/ Sorry, baby, for giving your fingers the first stage of frostbite…but, it was fun while it lasted! Good thing we live in Texas! I don’t know if he’d be a fan of a REAL winter! :) Our little foot and half tall snowman. He was so cute! And, see, he has a smile made out of Big Red gum! Perfect…Still happy and smiling… And, DONE! Cold and ready to be INSIDE! :) …
