We started the week with the thought that we were going to enjoy a week in Houston...just relaxing and bumming around with Matt's family and then ending the week with Matt speaking at a DNOW. But, after only 3 days of leisure, we got the dreaded phone call that my Dad's step mom had passed away. So, we drove the LONG 7 hour trip from South Houston to Abilene...with only one stop on the way at a lovely Wal-Mart Subway that had expired everything. {yuck} Thank you, Jesus, for our sweet little man and his DVD player. I don't know how we could have survived without his precious attitude and the hours of movies. So...here's a look into our "vacation!" and more...

Ok, when were you at the Houston Zoo? Don't tell me Thursday, b/c that's when we were there!! Looks like you had an action-packed week ... and I'm so sorry about your dad's stepmom. Hope everyone is doing ok!
