I think Christmas Eve is my favorite. The anticipation of what’s to come is truly the best! And, when it’s our baby girl’s first Christmas Eve, the excitement is almost too much to bear.
After a fun day, we got all dressed up for our Christmas Eve services at church.

The first service was for the kids…full of bells, “snow”, stories and glow sticks! Seriously precious and fun!

Then, Mammer, Slickpaw and ThePoeFam (minus Daddy because he had to prepare for the next candlelight service) grabbed a quick, fancy Christmas Eve dinner at DQ.
This is the stuff that memories are made of.

For the second candlelight service, our little family got the honor and privilege of carrying Baby Jesus down to the nativity at the front of the sanctuary. What a precious reminder of the REAL reason for this magical season!
Next, it was time to come home, get our new jammies on and go look at Christmas lights! But, first, Daddy had a new tradition to share with us! He made us all the most amazing and special spoon dolls/figures. It melted me!
Bliss got “Mommy” and I got “Rachel!” Presh!
I mean, have you EVER!?!? I love them and cherish the keepsake that they’ll forever be!
After a fun drive around looking at all of the lights in our neighborhood, it was time to get home and put the cookies out for Santa. I love the excitement my tummy still feels as I go to bed on Christmas Eve….magic…dreamy…thankful!
