On Thursday, October 9th, ThePoeFam headed to Quinn’s school to cheer him on for his 2nd Boosterthon. Unfortunately , due to our move, he missed it in First Grade. So, we were excited to make our sign (just like in Kindergarten) and root for our favorite Second Grader.
It was a HOT October morning, but Quinn managed to run 31 laps…and take just about that many water breaks. His little brother was, by far, his BIGGEST fan. He’d proudly hold the ‘big as him’ sign as Quinn would come around and want to give him high fives. He even tried to join him a few times. And, in true amazing, big brother fashion, Quinn came around one time with a cup of water for Nash. Melted this Momma.
I’m so thankful for moments like these…where we all get to be a part of something that’s a big deal to Q.
May he always “Run Like the Quinn!!!”
