First Day of Second Grade for Q.D.P.

It’s happening…my baby boy is getting big and there is NOTHING I can do about it!!! I noticed a HUGE change from the beginning of First Grade to the beginning of Second Grade. Not just longer legs and grown-up teeth…but just the way he is! He’s bigger on the inside too. It’s fun to watch and heartbreaking all at once!!!

Anyway, enough of the sap…
It’s Back to School once again! And, as much as we all loved summer, we welcomed the school year fondly! I love the night before school…the nervous excitement and anticipation for what’s to come is like nothing else! And, the morning of is pretty great too. Pictures…lunches…the drive to school...SO exciting!

And, Second Grade looks like it’s going to be a great one! I LOVED 2nd grade and have no doubt that Quinn will too!

First day of school “special lunch!”…He requested that I make lunches like I used to…I laughed…and tried my best…

And, of course, the pictures…Thankfully, he has yet to protest this tradition…I’m sure my day is coming…And, I’ll remind him who his Momma is and tell him to smile! …

The walk into school is always sweet. The whole fam…this time the Biggest pushing the Babiest…and Mammer and Slickpaw in attendance too. (Since Mammer is officially retired, she got to spend her first day with Q!)

And, drop off was less dramatic…less picture taking Mommas and a room full already at work.
But, just like always, it was a little sad to walk away…
No tears for this Momma this time! But my Sweet Love was on my heart all day long!

And, in true Quinn fashion, he came to the car with rave reviews! He had a great day…and I am so very thankful!

What was your favorite part of your day at school?
When we got to play names games.

What was your least favorite part about your day?
We couldn’t go out and play.

Did you learn anything at school? 
Lots of rules but we didn’t really learn anything.

What did you eat?      
Star Wars Special Lunch!!!

Did you make any new friends?
I was trying to but not yet. Aiden, Luke and Sophia were there, though.

Did you like your teacher? 
Yes because shes’s nice.

Did you have fun at school?
Yes…I like to learn.

Do you want to go back to school another day?
I will and yes!
