First Grade, Here He Comes!!!

My goodness…my big boy is starting First Grade! It really is hard to believe. And, after an amazing and busy Summer, it was time to get in back-to-school mode. On Friday, we went to meet our teacher. We are excited to have Mrs. Crick as Q’s First Grade Teacher this year! (and how fun is her name!?!) God knows exactly who Q needs and I prayed that He would put him the perfect class! I can’t wait to see how God uses my sweet love this year!

And, the day before school was all about celebrating! We set a fun table for dinner…and, even thought Nasher doesn’t start until next week, he wanted to celebrate with Bubba…

 
Thankfully, Daddy came home early from work and had a BLAST in the pool with his dudes. Seriously, my smile hurt from watching them!
 

 




After a yummy dinner from the grill, the boys took a bath and got on the couch for a movie and our annual “Night Before School sussy!” Q has learned to expect his “Surprise Ball” and couldn't wait! They had a blast making a mess and finding all of the goodies inside…


Then, before bed, it was time to read his special books. One from us and one from his teacher…
How cute is this!? Q loved putting his confetti under his pillow… 
We prayed for our big First Grader and tucked him in! We’re all excited for tomorrow!
