Goodness we love the Daddy in our house. And, just like always, June was all about celebrating him. It started with Father’s Day…and, we had fun spoiling him a little bit! The boys LOVED making the grill platter and cupcakes. They were so proud of both! It was a great day…church, lunch, swimming…and just enjoying our Daddy!
Then, on June 25th, it was time to celebrate the BIG 3-6!!! Since it was the middle of VBS week, we did everything we could to make it extra special.

It started with a trip to Einstein Bros. for breakfast, and, after VBS, we hung out at Lunch Bunch with the youth group. Matt was gifted with LOTS of Choco Tacos…one of his faves.
After a quick trip home to blow out his candles on his Monster’s U cake and change clothes, we headed to Sea Life Aquarium (a lady gave me FREE tickets while I was waiting in line for the cookie cake!). We had such a great time checking out all of the fishies. The boys were so excited at every turn. Then, we went down the street to get seats for Monsters University! It ended up being SUCH a fun movie…and, I’m so thankful that Matt always chooses to celebrate his birthday by doing something special for the boys! There always seems to be a great cartoon that comes out just in time!
Seriously, we LOVE him…our fun-loving, compassionate, crazy, supportive, prayerful Daddy! I am so thankful that he wakes up every day ready to do it all over again!
