For a fun surprise, Slickpaw got us tickets to the American Idol concert on Sunday night, July 29th. So, we got the boys a sitter and headed to the American Airlines Center in Downtown Dallas. After a yummy dinner at Victory Tavern, we walked across the street to go to the concert.
Since we’ve been fans of the show for our entire relationship (Kelly Clarkson won when we were engaged!), it was fun to see the “stars” live this year! Phillip Phillips was, BY FAR, our favorite…and, he was so fun to watch live! …And, Hollie Cavanaugh was in our youth group…so, it was fun to support her, too!
