9 Years with my TGTBT!

On Thursday, August 9th, I celebrated 9 amazing years being married to my TGTBT! We had a great, easy, family day! I was woken up to a sweet text from my hubby saying that he’d bought us tickets to the first Baylor football game next month. (since the gifts this year were leather & pottery!) Matt took the day off and we started the day with Quinn taking us to celebrate our anniversary for breakfast donuts! He was so proud of his contribution to our day! Then, we went to our Summer Movie Club {Arthur Christmas} movie as a family. After loving our little Christmas in August, we dined on our VERY favorite salad from Cheesecake Factory for lunch.

After some presents and naps, we headed to Baker Bros for dinner for our FAVORITE sandwich! Nothing fancy, but we LOVED it! And, to add the perfect touch to our day, we drove to Ft. Worth to go to Trader Joe’s! You know you’ve been married 9 years when you get excited about going to a grocery store together.

I am so thankful to be married to Matthew Jared Poe…and, I love that our anniversary doesn’t have to be full of champagne and roses to be fabulous! Here’s to 9 more sweet years!
To add to the fun of our day, we dressed the boys in their TGTBT t-shirts that we got for gifts last year! I thought our anniversary was the MOST perfect day for them to show them off! …and, every time I looked at them throughout the day, I was reminded of how much they have added to our TGTBT story!
