On Friday, May 18th, my big guy woke up coughing like I’ve never heard him cough before. So, after a trip to the doc with steroid shots and breathing treatments, I was sure he was going to have to miss his last game. But, thankfully, after a few treatments, he was feeling determined to go to his game at 4:00 on Saturday!
And, we didn’t protest. We got him ready and got in the car to do our pre-game ritual {that Q ALWAYS requests} for one last time. I think Matt cringes every time we play this country tune, but my BOYS eat it up. And, I must admit that I LOVE it too.
{p.s. please don’t judge Q’s horribly placed buckles. We usually catch that.}
Thankfully, Q hardly coughed and did a great job at his last game. I don’t think it’ll ever get old seeing him in that darling uniform…
Go Royal Bobcats!!
Then, after the game, it was on to our post-game tradtion. SNOWCONES! We got one after EVERY game and we all learned to look forward to it!
What a fun season!
