During the weekend of April 27th, Matt was given the opportunity to preach at a high school conference at Pine Cove. And, the best part? The whole PoeFam was invited to come along. Since I had never been to Pine Cove before, I was so excited to see what it was all about…and couldn’t wait for a weekend away with my guys!
It wasn’t until we got there that I realized how much we needed a getaway. We had an ABSLOUTELY amazing weekend of relaxing and refreshment at the MOST beautiful setting. It was impossible to not be aware of Christ’s sweet presence! On top of that, the boys LOVED being outdoors…playing on “the beach,” flying kites, finding bugs and pinecones and getting dirty!! We made so many precious memories!!! It didn't take me long to become a HUGE Pine Cove fan…and, I hope and pray it’s a place we can go again and again.
P.S. the food and camp speaker were pretty stinkin’ amazing too!

I LOVE PINE COVE!!! It has such a special place in my heart. I worked two summers there in college. And yes the food is surprisingly good for "camp food".
