It’s hard to believe that my sweet baby boy is FIVE! On March 27th, 2012, Quinn woke up like he’d been shot with a canon!! The anticipation for his REAL birthday had been building and it was finally here!!!
And, at 7 AM, the celebrating began!! He ran in our room and got lots of Mommy & Daddy lovin’. He was anxious to get the day started! Before he got dressed, he got to open one present…then he was ready for our special breakfast date to IHOP! (His choice!) 
It was fun just having him…and, he even got special birthday pancakes and a song! After we took Daddy to work, we went home to open some presents with Mammer and Slickpaw, take our annual nose picture and to play for a while before it was time for lunch. 
At lunch time it was no surprise that the birthday boy chose “Old McDonald’s!” He loves it so!!!
Then, back home for more presents. And, during Nash’s nap, Q had a BLAST playing with his new Leap Pad while Slickpaw and I struggled to put together his fun indoor trampoline! But, when we finally got it done, it was a HIT! 
Thankfully, Daddy was able to come home from work early! So, it was time for the special cake Mammer made him! Obviously, Q loved it!!! 
After telling Mammer and Slickpaw goodbye, Q got to open the rest of his gifts from us before we headed to TeeBall practice! And, at the end of practice, his teammates sang to him and dined on yummy Baseball Oreo pops! Everything is better on your birthday…even TeeBall practice! 
Then, the birthday boy chose pizza for dinner. So, we called one in and dined at home while he enjoyed playing with all of his fun birthday toys! It was the perfect day celebrating our BIG FIVE YEAR OLD!!!
