021It is crazy how much super fun stuff literally happens in our new church’s front yard. Days before Grapefest, the carnival started going up in the parking lot…so, you can imagine the excitement my little guy was experiencing.
So, on Friday the 16th, we loaded up the fam and drove the familiar drive down 121! We stopped in to check on the youth (they fundraise by charging for parking in the church’s parking lot during festivals) and then walked on in to Grapefest.
We had a great afternoon. The weather was beautiful and we really enjoyed getting to walk up and down Main Street with our little family. First stop was the Carnival. Quinn had NO interest in the rides, but couldn't wait to win some prizes. We got $20 worth of tickets for the day and had a ball!
Then, before we decided to go home, Quinn wanted to win his baby a toy with his leftover tickets. So, we went back to the duck booth and Q won him a little alligator just like his! What a preciously precious big brother!
And, after Daddy lost trying to win a HUGE gnome, the guy gave him two EXTRA sketchy Christmas stuffed animals! Nash loved them and loved them and loved them. And, despite our cringing at the nastiness of the toys, he was pretty darn cute!
It was a perfect day in our new little neck of the woods!…And, we look forward to being a part of festivals and parades and carnivals and more…right in our church’s front yard! …One thing is for sure, we have THE BEST parking spot! :)

Too fun! My girlfriend and I were there with our oldest kiddies that same time... we had a ball and both my son Brady and his buddy Sydney conked out as soon as we got in the car...we mommies wished we could do the same! We always love Grapefest and look forward to Main Street Days in the Spring! Love your photos!
