First of all…I have yet to figure out how to have a truly successful family Forth of July with a baby! …Thankfully, we made it work! :) …

We spent the morning just chillin’ out at home before going out to run a few errands for the almost birthday boy in our house! Then, after afternoon naps, Mammer and Slickpaw grabbed Bueno and we all headed to the pool. It was another fun trip…with both of my boys loving it even more this time than the last. We can already tell that Nash is going to be a water rat…and probably a little too daring for his Momma!

By the time we got home, it was 8:00 and Nash was reaching his limit. We just didn’t know how he was going to make it to the fireworks. So, Matt volunteered to stay at home with him while the rest of us went down the street to watch the fireworks. Quinn was hesitant at first…for some reason he (all of a sudden) feels that the fireworks are going to “fire him!” But, all of our fun light up toys and candy made it fun…and, by the time the fireworks began, he was excited and ready!

Sadly, our recent Disney fireworks made these a little “wah wahhh,” but it was still super fun to be out enjoying the fourth! I love my freedom. I love my America.
