Praying God’s Word: January

praying

Here are the topics that I’ve chosen for January. (FYI: I’m going to start a new verse on Mondays!) If you’d like to join me, I’d love to have you…or choose your own! Either way, I can’t wait to see how God moves in your life!

January 3-9: Our Family…our plans (Proverbs 19:21, Jeremiah 29:11)

January 10-16: My boys…their happiness (Proverbs 15:13, Gen 21:6)

January 17-23: My husband…his job (Psalm 90:17)

January 24-30: Me…as a wife (Hebrews 10:24, Proverbs 21:9)

1January1
And, if you have no idea what I’m talking about, click here to read how I plan on using this to help me stay focused in 2011!

Funny how I just posted on New Year's Day about being more intentional with what I'm praying about. I was actually about to search for a new iphone app, and then read your post. Love this!

Thanks for the great idea, I will for sure be joining! Although I don't have a husband, I pray daily for the man God will bring into our lives and for the wife I will be. I think this will give me more direction and I am super excited! I added your blog button too!

Just spent some time in quiet focusing on the verses for the week. Thanks again for sharing this! It's so easy to get overwhelmed with the daily tasks of being a mom, working, running a house etc. This helped me refocus on the important things that REALLY matter. Will you be sharing what you journal at all? I think it would help me to hear other perspectives in regards to what the verses meant to others!
