My 2011 Goal List

After reading this blog, I got motivated to make a little list of things I’d love to accomplish in 2011! I’m not sure if all of them will happen, but I thought I’d try! And, I’m the type of person that TOTALLY writes something down after it has already been done just so that I can check it off! So…here is my list…with one thing ALREADY done! … Feels good!

My 2011 Goal List:
Pray God's Word (a new verse each week)
Publish the Advent Devotional Book with Carrie & have ready for others by September
Do 2009 Blog Book
Do 2010 Blog Book
Get Caught up on Pictures
Get REDICULOUSLY organized (put "like items" together)
Clean out closet (FOR REAL!)
Ring Christmas Cards
Stay caught up on Big Brother Book
Stay caught up on Nash's Baby Book
Send at least 1 "Snail Mail" card a month to a friend
Do Anniversary Album
Plan Summertime Learning Activities for Quinn (Themes: Batman /Mickey Mouse/Vacation)
Re-decorate Playroom/Matt’s Office
Put DVD's in CD Books?!
Start Etsy Store (more on this to come)

And, here’s my proof on the crossed off items! Thanks, Annalee, for the great idea! I, too, am a hoarder of cards and loved getting them where I could look at them…instead of rubberbanded in boxes!

Such a great idea about the Christmas card rings. I am putting mine in albums, but the ring thing seems much easier - and you can still see the inside/back of the card. I see Blake's little head peeking out of your 2010 card ring - ha! :)

I love the card idea! I always wonder what to do with them! I am pretty sure over time when I get tired of them they get thrown away. Now I'm a little sad. :( Oh well, I think I even have a ring-I'm totally doing this with this years cards.

I'm a list maker too. I think I need to make a 2011 list.

I can't wait to hear about your new little shop!

I know a family who keeps their Christmas cards by the dinner table all year and picks a different family each week to pray for. Loved that!

All my Christmas cards are sitting in a stack from when I took down my decorations. I hate to throw out everyone's cute pics but never know what to do with them. This is perfect because I know myself and I'll never make an album out of them...but a hole punch I can handle!!
Love it!!
