H2O Intolerant

Nash absolutely HATES diaper changes, the sponge baths he’s had and getting dressed…so we were pretty sure he was going to HATE his first REAL bath! Since his cord fell off at 8 days old, we definitely waited a while to face the dreaded tub. But, finally, at 16 days old, we got out his new little bath seat and the YUMM-O Baby Magic.

Sadly, our prediction was correct. He was not a fan AT ALL! So, we scrubbed fast and quickly got him wrapped up in his towel…which he loved! And, I loved holding my cuddly, squeaky clean, yummy smelling baby boy! Nothing like it.

Here’s hoping that bath time gets better and better! Maybe next time we’ll let big brother get in with him! :) July 20-22 and First Bath 022 July 20-22 and First Bath 024July 20-22 and First Bath 031 July 20-22 and First Bath 026 July 20-22 and First Bath 029July 20-22 and First Bath 032

Brittney,
Congrats on baby Nash!! He's adorable and I have loved following along as you have welcomed him into your fam! Parker hated baths too when he was itty bitty, and now I can't keep him out of the water! :)

Awwww. Our first two have always loved baths, but our 3rd who is now 9 months still hates baths with a passion. Cries every time. Cries in any water unless it's a big warm pool and she's being held by Mommy. She cries a little less when her bro and sis are in the tub with her. Hope he starts to like it! :)

My daughter did this. we finally figured out that she didn't like to be cold, we put a space heater in the bathroom and would warm it up before we put her in the bath. From then on out she loved it. we even have a picture of her asleep in the baby tub...of course for us it was like a sona!

my daughter (2nd born) was the same way. the only thing that helped was putting a towel (hand towel works well when they are that little) in the water to wrap her with as we washed her. it kept her warm and most of all HAPPY! :)
