So, I had big dreams! Dreams that Quinn’s red crib was going to easily be transformed to orange with a few cans of spray paint! … But, after multiple tries…and me twisting his arm to try JUST one more time…I let Matt throw in the towel! It just wouldn’t work! The paint bubbled, glopped, and looked horrible. After sanding, trying multiple types of paint, and inhaling way too many fumes (that I’m sure can’t be good for the baby either…I swear, Quinn’s was easy and didn’t smell AT ALL!), my orange crib dreams have vanished! …
So, I’ve been on the lookout! I want a modern crib! … And, I know it’s not practical, because I’m sure I won’t want a modern crib for our next baby…ESPECIALLY if when it’s a GIRL! ;) …But, Matt told me that we should get what we want now…and focus on that later! (GOODNESS…I love that man!)
All of that to say, I want it to be inexpensive…and COOL! … So, it’s time for another little survey!
Look at all of these choices and tell me what you think!!!
The first one is my favorite!!! But, of course, I think it’s sold out and there are no other stores that carry it! I’ve emailed the company and am waiting for a response! So, you can’t vote on this one…but, know it’s what I’m dreaming of!…
Anyway…here we go…
1. Traditional white with curved top! This one COULD be used for a baby girl and is an excellent price!!!
2. When you look at this cool one, understand a FEW things! There are NO mattress levels. So, we’ll have to bend ALL the way down to get baby out at the beginning. Or, buy a cheap mattress to raise him up. … Also, we have a chest of drawers already, but my thoughts are that WHO can have too many places for storage. And, it’s on HUGE sale! $199 3. This is my pricey-est option, so I”m trying not to love it too much! But, if it’s the best, I guess it’s ok! :) It’s a DwellStudio from Target.
4. Horrible picture…SUPER plain crib! NO FRILLS! The room decor would make the statement around this.
5. Picture this next one in white…there’s just no picture! A little frilly, but nice…and another one that I would use for a girl too.
6. And, lastly, another simple…but not as simple as the PLAIN one above! …
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!!!

Have you tried looking on craigslist? Esp if you want simple and will only use for a year with Nash. My friend Terry just sold hers yesterday on there. You might just look and see. :)

#4! You have such great decorating skills, that like you said, the decor would shine. minimal = very mod
