Question #2 & #3!

questns Let me just say that I LOVED your responses on my Question #1! I can’t wait to look at all of them again and try some of your favorites!

So, since you impressed me so, here are two more EXTRA important questions! ;)

2. What is something that you were SO thankful that you packed in your hospital bag?

and…
3. Which car seat is cuter?
(vote on the sidebar)

Love the orange. When I had my son, I'm glad I had my boppy and my ipod!

I like the orange one too!

I was thankful to have cute pjs to change into after delivery. I know some people think it is a waste but I brought all my toiletries, makeup and hair dryer because getting a shower, fixing my hair and putting on makeup made me feel "human" again.

I would have to say boppy and cute nursing gowns and robes for visitors!!! I am being induced in 6 days, and this time I bought a pretty "delivery gown" and I am excited about that because the ones at the hospital are drab and I think I will "feel" better:)! I know frivolous...but this is it:)!!! Blessings...I am enjoying reading your comments as well!!

Comfy pjs/clothes were my big thing. I didn't want to in a hospital gown when I had visitors or walking in the hospital. Also my own pillows from home.

In the hospital I was so glad to have my ipod which kept me focused and sane during many hours of labor. I also loved having something cute to change into after Doak was born. I brought nursing tanks, yoga pants and a hoodie to keep me warm in the hospital. It felt so good to have real clothes on!

i liked having my pillow, not just my pillowcase... hospital pillows are generally of the plastic, sweaty variety. i loved having my own!
and comfy pjs.

Lip balm and moisturizer! Hospital air is soooooooooo dry. I think this time I will bring a second water cup because we were refilling mine constantly. Also snacks! I packed granola bars and had my husband bring fresh fruit from home after the births. (fiber is your friend IFKWIM ;-) )

We just bought the Grey with Cube Design for our new baby so that is my vote!

I vote orange! Duh. :)

I too bought my own hospital gown! They are only like 20 bucks online. Just google it. I think I got mine off of Amazon. It makes for great conversation. (Although, we did have to bring it home in a plastic bag to wash it...3 or 55 times.) Kidding. We only washed it once and it is brand clean. It makes for cute pictures too. :)

Of course my own pillows, and a whole bedding set up for Peter. Sheets, Blanket, etc.

I also couldn't handle the idea of the hospital floor. So, flip flops.

And, of course the REALLLY cute short sleeved robe YOU bought me that said "Titus' Mommy."

I always said I'd change Titus into something cute, but the nursery kept putting him back into the t-shirt and toboggan. Suckers!

I never had a hospital bag since my babies both came too early and in emergency situations. Ha!

Thank you for your comment. I am glad you can share our story with your friend. My heart is really drawn to others going through what we recently experienced (let me know if she has a blog!). Calla was born on December 16, 2009 at 26 weeks. I went in the hospital at 25 weeks. Calla spent almost three months in the NICU, but is home now and doing fabulous. She is amazing. The road has been hard and not what we would have chosen, but God is teaching us through it. Feel free to give your friend my email (juliemichelle37@hotmail.com) if she has questions. I will pray she keeps her baby in as long as possible!

Nice to "meet" you too! I LOVE reading your blog and am so glad I found it. You have such neat ideas and I can't wait to "copy" more of them as my little boy grows and learns. Thanks for sharing!

I loved having clothes to change into after delivery! Also, I had to have my camera, my iPod, and my favorite blanket from home.

I loved having some really good smelling lotion. I'm also with the others and brought cure pj's to wear and my own pillow. I just went the other day and bought myself some new pj's for when Caden comes. Won't be long now.

I loved having regular PJs to wear after Jackson was born. I was also glad I had the boppy pillow. I bought a boppy cover off of Etsy with Jackson's name on it. All of the nurses went on and on about it!
My vote is orange!

BEST thing I packed was a short letter to my older son, congratulating him on being a big brother! He was 2 1/2 when my youngest son was born and I think it made it SUPER special when he came to meet his brother for the first time! I gave it to him along with the big brother cake they provided at the hospital :)
