“Without enough sleep, we all become
tall two-year-olds.”

I must admit, I LOVE Quinn’s big boy room! I thought I loved his nursery, but it doesn’t compare to this! I think all of his stuff just flows better this way! My mom and I had too much fun getting it perfect for my sweet “big boy!” And, thankfully, the transition was a dream! He LOVES climbing up in his bed all by himself and snuggling under his so cozy covers. And, usually before 2 stories are finished, he’s ready to turn on his music and “go nigh-night!” For now, he’s sleeping from about 9ish to 7:30 or 8 in the morning! And, he naps from 2:30ish to 5:30ish. And, the cutest part is, he still calls for me to come and get him! I’ll let him continue to do it for as long as he will! Sweet love! …And, now, without further adieu…Quinn’s big boy room… Here’s his big wall! Big walls stress me out! I never know what to do! But, I was so happy with the way all of his stuff made the coolest collage. We’re going to add a few more things to make it complete. And, it looks even cooler in person because of all of the different dimensions! I love it! …
This is one of the things that was added to his room! It’s an article from Matt in high school…where he scored 29 points in one game! COOL…and authentically vintage! … His bed…Quinn finally gets to enjoy the gift (his big boy quilt and sham) that his Nana, Pawpaw and Great-grandma Mimi gave him before he was born! I still love it so much! And, check out the fun Polo sports bear sheets! I think they’re so precious!…
Quinn’s fantastic Q collection now hangs above his bed…and, I put all of them together! I hope he loves it forever!!!… His bedside table drawers contain a few more books and a basket of “thats!” It’s always fun for him to choose one each night and nap!
His little locker stayed in the same place. I just added some new things…including his Daddy’s t-ball trophy from 1984! …
Here’s Quinn’s cozy little corner. I added sports cards to the frame of a chalkboard (thanks to Cara’s fabulous idea) and put pillows and a rug to make it even cozier. Quinn loves to sit back here and play with the magnets on his locker. I haven’t pulled out the chalk yet, but I will soon. And, I know it will be a hit! …
His dresser and scoreboard stayed…but we added his cool corkboard “Q” to the right. We got it at Canton months ago…they said it came from an old barn sign in East Texas. I think it’ll be the perfect spot for Q to put some of his favorite things!…
Where the changing table once sat, there is now a fun little hinged bench seat. Quinn loves to stand on it and look at himself in the mirror. And, he often sits here when I put on his shoes. It’s the perfect size for my big boy! And, his baby quilt hangers served as perfect clips for his pennants. And, less holes to spackle! … But, hands down, the cutest thing in the room is THIS GUY! My sweet big boy…I’m so glad he loves his big boy room!…

Wow! You really have a knack, girl. Looks so great! Glad you're little guy loves it, too.
I love his big boy room. My 2 sons are Joshua and Josiah and I may have to borrow your "Q" idea but use J of course for the wall that their beds are on. That is an awesome idea.
So adorable! You did a fabulous job. I am glad to know I am not the only one who gets overwhelmed by huge walls- I never know what to do either.
Treasure these days, they grow up too fast. You did a great job on his room, it is darling and I know he loves it.
Drop by and see me when you are not decorating.
