New Year's Eve was so much fun for our little man this year...since finding a babysitter on New Year's Eve is next to impossible, we decided to make the day about having fun with Q and his buddies...So, we met a HUGE group of friends at Chuy's for a fun "Countdown the New Year at Noon" lunch! Even though it was chaos with lots of mommies, daddies and friends, it was so cute to see all of them have so much fun with their noise makers and hats! Lucy, the sweet friend the coordinated the lunch, even got the kiddos their own New Year's cookie...so sweet!

My favorite part about this one is seeing the reflection in the window of all of the daddies taking pictures...so cute...
Then, after a little shopping and coming home to nap, we headed over to Tanner's house for more New Year's Eve fun...it was so fun and so easy to hang out with such sweet friends...and, of course, we love any opportunity to gab while the boys play...
At about 9:45, most of the boys were getting extra sleep/delirious, so we came home to celebrate a little more! My night owl was happy to party with Dick Clark for a while and "Danced on the Ceiling" with Lionel Ritchie before bedtime...
...sadly, Matt and I didn't make it to midnight this year...we were OK with snoozing through it and celebrating 2009 first thing in the morning!

Don't worry, girl - we didn't see the new year in either. Totally slept through it, and were happy to do so! I have a feeling this year we the first of many where I'll feel the same way. It's crazy to me, btw, that you guys get that many people together so regularly and that you get the pics you do!
