Quinn's First Swimming Lesson

On Saturday morning, Matt, Q, Nana, Pawpaw and I loaded up the car to head to Quinn's first swimming lesson. There were about 8 other babies around Q's age anxiously waiting to hop in the water and "learn to swim!" It was so fun to work with him to blow bubbles, kick and "scoop" the water. He was a pretty good student (he did try to get out of the pool a few times about half way through) and I hope that he learns a little more with each lesson!

I think Momma was more excited than Q...
Trying to teach him to blow bubbles...the told us to do it in our hands if they baby was scared to put his head in the water...Of course, he blows bubbles all of the time at home but not when others are watching...

And, yes, I am making "boat noises" as we're trying to teach him to kick...

Kick, Kick, Kick, Kick, Kick...I think I said it 1,000 times...

Scoop, Scoop Scoop, Scoop...he's just thinking I'm crazy!...

Free time after our lesson...
All dried off and extra sleepy...

How fun that you are doing swimming lessons as a family! It looks like so much fun! T is loving his swimming lessons, too. We need to take the boys to the pool and let them swim and splash together!

SO sweet! Great pics! We just had our last class last week and I really did think Em learned some things by the end...she "scooped" and kicked away this weekend when we were at the lake. Looks like you guys even had the same teacher we had. Happy swimming :o)!
