Mother's Day Perfection

I truly had the most perfect Mother's Day! The weather was perfect, the company was perfect, my baby was perfect, our outing was perfect, the gifts were perfect...it was a wonderful day! The day started with a home-cooked breakfast by my husband. I have to admit that I'm not a huge "real breakfast" fan...I'd much prefer donuts and junk...but he did a great job...sausage, eggs, toast, watermelon, strawberries, bananas, juice. It really was yummy! ... Then, it was present time...and they did not disappoint. I got the sweetest cards (always my favorite part), a beautiful new Bible, and a priceless necklace...then my mom and dad got me my 2007 Blog Book and a new light fixture for my kitchen! FUN!

Don't mind the glasses, short shorts and no make up! :) ...

Then, it was off to the Arboretum. I LOVE going there so much! Even though parking two miles away, taking a charter bus to the gardens, and then standing in a 30 minute line to buy tickets wasn't what we expected, once we got in, it was PERFECT! We picniced, walked around, played with our little man and took hundreds of pictures! With a precious boy like Q and a backdrop like the Arboretum, Slickpaw and I couldn't stop! ...Why choose when I can show them all?!...So, enjoy my {rediculously too many} favorites...

Laughing hysterically!...

Looking at the BIG fish...

Bringing momma a pecan bloom...he loves to give us things...and then usually take them back! ...I just love this picture so...

Getting a silhouette done...sadly, it looked nothing like him...oh well...

precious! thanks for your sweet comments on my blog. about the collages...i just use power point, design a "slide", and then save it as a jpeg. i've downloaded fonts and clip art and such. i hope to get and learn photo shop someday, but for now, this is working!
