Faith

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Hebrews 11:1
Today, when I got Quinn from his nap, he was doing what he often does...standing up and pointing down. The reason he does this is because when he wakes up, he throws his passy to the ground. Maybe he's angry that it's taking me so long to get there or maybe he sees it as a fun little game...who knows!? Regardless of the reason, he is usually happily pointing to it when I walk through the door. Then, I proceed to pick it up and give it to him before I lift him out of his bed to give him a hug! Well, today was a little different. Today, he couldn't see his passy. It had gone underneath his bed and was covered by his little dust ruffle. But, being a little smarty, he knew that it was there and continued to point! ... Now, isn't that what we all should be doing? Pointing (maybe not down, but up!) and realizing that God knows what is best for us!!!... regardless of if we can see it or not!

So happy to have that passy!

Slickpaw, this is for you! We love you!

Good analogy...you're so right! And I'm so glad you got to go on that women's retreat. I think they're a little cheesy too, but I realize that I needed it more than I thought! Heart you! (Read my blog and you'll see why I had to type "Heart" instead of the "L" word!)
