ZOO Cancelled!

You have no idea how horrible it is to welcome a group of 21 first graders with..."We're not going to be able to go to the zoo today because of the bad weather!" Poor things! Their excitement quickly disolved and it was so very obvious by their body language that they were crushed. So...here I am...trying to make this day "not so bad" by playing games, watching movies, and going to centers. Even though we're rescheduling, there's nothing that can really replace the ZOO! Anyway...my mind is full with getting ready for the Girls' Confrence that I'm having this weekend. Looks like we're going to have about 25 girls and 5 friends of mine are going to speak/sing! It's going to be amazing and I am so thankful that I had so many people to ask to help me with this big event. Say a prayer for us...I really want the girls to learn and grow from this experience...
