Well, my weekend was SUPER restful...it was much needed! I slept from 9:45 on Friday night (how old am I?) and didn't get up until about 9:15!!! Then, after being up for a few hours, I took an hour and a half nap! WOW! I didn't know I could sleep so much. I don't think I have since High School! It was great! ... Now, the week is busy! Of course...how would I know life any other way!? I have meetings, book study for school, a funeral for a friend's grandma, Bible study with my small group of girls, an observation at school, planning for the Girls' Conference at church, etc, etc. The week should go by fast, though! That's good! And, then, after this week, only one more week until spring break! I can't believe it...I feel that we just had Christmas! I know that the new youth building should be ready that week, so I'll be busy helping my husband.
On top of all of this I have a heavy heart for my best friend, Sarah. Her husband, Ryan, left for Iraq yesterday. I can't imagine the feeling of my husband being away for 7 months. Sarah is so strong...she has truly amazed me during the last two deployments. I can honestly say that I couldn't do it. Please keep Ryan is your prayers as he's away and please pray for Sarah as she's waiting patiently for these 7 months to end. I will forever believe that a military wife is the hardest job in the world!
