My Sweet Blissful Bliss,
If it were possible, I think I would eat you up with a spoon! Seriously! Daily, I look at you and melt! And, because I’m…once again…almost a month behind at posting your little letter (even though the pics were taken on time)…I’m going to make this short and sweet. 
We started your 9th month with a trip to Nana and Pawpaw’s to celebrate Christmas with them and all of your cousins. You had a blast and were loved by everyone! We also celebrated your First New Year’s and loved having your Bubbas both at home from school for the long break. You adore them so! 
On top of your love for them, you still LOVE bathtime, started loving Puffs, laugh the loudest for your Daddy and find very little to be sad about. You still don’t want anything to do with baby food but have decided that BIG people food is yummmmyyyy! You’ll devour meatloaf, potatoes, green beans and baskically anything else we put in front of you. It cracks us up that you love it so! 
This month, we decided to get serious about the sleeping thing. Going to sleep isn’t a prblem, but you’ve started thinking that few nighttime snacks are necessary. So, instead of ging in to your room, we dediced to see if you could soothe yourself. Thankfully, after a week of working hard, the longest you cried in the night was 20 mintues…and you’re sleeping for 9 to almost 12 hours!!! Praise Jesus! We’re so proud of you…and us! You also take one good nap in your bed a day…for 2-3 hours. The other naps are on the go…when you have two big brothers, you just have to make do! 
It’s a good thing we’re all getting more sleep, because we made a big change to keep Nash home from preschool this semester. You get to observe him learning about all kinds of things and get to tag along to the library and more. Maybe you’ll know all of your letters sooner because of his help! 
Some of my favorites from your 9th month are…
Your darling wave…The way you try to eat the food out of our mouths like a little birdie…Watching your pincher fingers pick up your food…The way you beam at your brothers…Your squinchy face…Hearing you say Mama…Watching you talk to yourself in your princess mirror…The way you kick and beam when I pick you up out of your crib…The way you can’t stand it when Daddy wears a hat…When you lay your head on my shoulder and give me “pat pats”…How you still love to put your feet in your mouth…Watching you start to explore…The way you “waa waaa waaa” with the back of your hand…Seeing you pull up in your bed…Watching you peek around things/corners to look for us…How expressive you are with your hands…and I’m sure so much more! 
So, as promised…I’m going to keep this short and sweet and remind you, for the thousandth time…that I adore you and am so very thankful you’re mine!
