Since this year does mark my 10 year reunion {*gasp*}, I really wanted to make it a priority to take ThePoeFam to Baylor Homecoming. Due to crazy youth pastor schedules, we haven’t made the trip to Homecoming since Quinn has been born. And, since our boys (and their Momma & Daddy) are HUGE Baylor fans, we thought this would be the perfect year!

So, on Saturday, November 3rd, we got up SUPER early and drove the 2 hours to Waco. We spent the day enjoying the parade, shopping in all of the Baylor stores, walking around Baylor’s beautiful campus, running into lots of sweet friends, reminiscing about many Baylor memories and going to the football game. Unfortunately, it was not a beautiful fall day. The heat and mugginess had us leave the game after the 1st quarter. But, the day trip was perfect.

I am so thankful to call Baylor University my alma mater and so proud that it continues to be such a fun part of my family’s life. Now, I just need to pray that my boys are SUPER smart or SUPER athletic so none of us have to foot the Baylor tuition bill 13 years from now!
