This past weekend, my handsome husband of almost 9 years and I got all dressed up for not one…but two…weddings. The first one was on Thursday night and Matt had the pleasure of marrying them. We loved being able to council this couple before their marriage and then truly enjoyed being a part of sweet Jamie and Spencer’s special day. The ceremony and reception was at the MOST amazing outdoor venue in Quinlan, Texas. It looked like it came straight out of a movie. And, after years of dating, they were READY and so very happy!
Then, on Sunday night, we made the trip to downtown McKinney for Sweet Katy’s wedding. When our first house was being built, we actually lived with Katy’s aunt and uncle while she was living with them as well! During that time, we really fell in love with her.
Over her high school years, I ended up leading a Bible study with Katy and all of the sweet girls below. What a blessing to have been so involved in their lives. It’s crazy to me that they’re now ALL married!! Does that make me OLD!?
An extra treat of Katy’s wedding was getting to spend some time with my Kaylynn. How I love and miss her.
Oh how I love weddings! How I LOVE when the bride is so elated to be becoming a Mrs… And, both of these BRIDES were BEOYND joyful! On top of that, their attention to detail in their ceremonies/receptions was AMAZING…and, they both looked so very beautiful! I love these girls…and can’t wait to watch them as they become OLDYWEDS like me!
