Leading up to Easter, we always have lots of fun things to keep us busy. And this year was no different.
First of all, the Easter Bunny made lots of visits to our house. We decided that he likes our grass the best…
Then, a few weeks ago, we had our annual Easter playgroup. Quinn, Nash and I brought some fun marshmallow shish-ka-bobs for our friends and eggs to hunt, of course. The boys (and girl) had a wonderful time!!! I love their sweet friendships!
The Thursday before Easter, Quinn had his Easter chapel and party at school. Matt graciously took care of Nash so that I could celebrate with the sweet big brother! … Quinn even said, “it’s a Mommy/Quinn date AT SCHOOL!!!” So sweet. I loved hearing him sing his songs and tell me just what to do with the motions. It was a special memory with my big school boy!
{Too bad Quinn doesn’t feel relaxed at chapel…ha!}
{silly songs before the party began…}
{Jesus died for ALL of us!!!}
{the gorgeous flower cross that the kids helped create!…}
And, on Friday before we hit the road to meet our new cousin, we made Resurrection Rolls. Quinn loved seeing that “JESUS IS ALIVE” when we cute open the roll! Such a sweet illustration…literally and figuratively! :)
I love Easter and all of the the sweet things that we get to do to remember what our Savior did for us!
