Nash: Two Months Old

Finally, here is Nash’s two month letter from Mommy. The pictures were taken at 2 months…the letter was 10 days late! :) 2months 042My Sweet Chubber Bubber,

I am in awe of how much I have fallen in love with you in just two short months. Actually, I’m in awe of how much we ALL love you! (even Kia and Krozby!) The love that I was so unsure of is so strong and alive in my heart. The fact that my heart has doubled is truly  another one of God’s miracles…and I feel so blessed to be experiencing it. 2months 056 My favorite part of your second month of life is your precious smile. We no longer are seeing the “is that a smile” smiles. You love to give us the REAL deal…and you smile all of the time! …You love to smile at Mommy and Daddy…at Quinn…and at the bird pictures above
the couch. It’s so funny that you love them so!

Just as much as I love your smile, I’m IN LOVE with your dimple! I seriously kiss it at least 100 times a day. It melts my heart and I’m sure it will have me saying “yes” more times that I should. 2months 004 But, let’s be honest…in between those smiles, you’re a bit of a fussy gus. If you’re awake, you want to be held. And you want to be held the way that YOU want to be held…up and moving. Stinker. You don’t give Momma much of a break…and your almost 15 lb. body leaves my back aching at the end of most days. I try not to complain…I love that you love me so…BUT, playing on your playmat or your bouncy for more than 5 minutes surely wouldn’t kill you! :) 2months 0212months 011 You have become a pretty consistent sleeper this month and are doing great soothing yourself to sleep in your bassinet at night. You usually sleep for a while in our arms before your last feeding and then sleep for 5 hours and then 3 more! And, when we’re home, you take pretty good naps in your crib. I’m thankful for that and know the night stretch is going to get longer and longer. 2months 015You’re also {obviously} a very good eater. During the day you’ll nurse about ever 3 to 4 hours. (even though I’m pretty sure that you’re ALWAYS hungry) You also had your first bottle of formula this month! And, shockingly, you LOVE it! Your big brother gave you your first bottle and you devoured the whole 3 ounces in no time! Since then you’ve had about 3 more bottles and have loved them all. It’s a nice option when we’re out and about or at soccer practice. I have a feeling you’re going to eat whatever we put in front of you! :) 2months 001

Due to all of that good eating, you’re in 3-6 month clothes and a size 2 diaper. I expected lots of Quinn’s hand-me-downs were going to be useless due to the wrong season, but I was wrong. You’re fitting in his clothes perfectly! :) And, I love seeing you in some of my favorites of his. I don’t care what they say…boys clothes are fun! 2months 030   2months 033We love how alert you are!! And how strong! You make us laugh by the way you look around at anything and everything you see…and we always get comments about your beautiful and bright eyes. It’s looking like they might not be brown, but we’ll see. I’d love for you to have my eye color, since Quinn got Daddy’s.

We’re also not going to have to worry about the back of your head getting flat. You are a TUMMY baby and have no interest in laying on your back at any time. I would have expected you to roll over from your tummy to your back by now, but you don’t want to, I guess. You’d rather show off your strong neck muscles!
2months 039 2months 040  2months 046 2months 054  This month, we’ve done a lot of running around. You do an ok job in the car…but your carseat is not your favorite place. If you have your Wubanub, things are better. We’re not on a consistent day time schedule for you yet…but I’m guessing that it’s time to try it. With all of big brother’s activities, it makes it a little more difficult. 2months 059

Overall, things are going better than expected with your in our world. Your Big Brother is obsessed with you, I’m getting good (again) at doing everything with one hand and getting up in the middle of the night just isn’t that bad.We, obviously, can’t imagine you not being a part of our family…and we are loving loving on you each and every day. Here’s hoping that the next month brings us even more joy…lots of laughter…and sleeping through the night!!!

I love you, Mr. Man,
Your Mommy

Ahh he’s just precious! Happy 2 months Nash!

I was taking family pictures for a sweet family a few weeks ago and one of the little boy’s names was Nash! It made me think about ya. I asked him if he knew there was a skateboard also named Nash. I would have never know this but saw it on your blog. He thought that was pretty cool!

Happy Friday to ya!

I love his onesie. :) He is a good eater. :) Titus was almost 14 lbs at his 3 month appointment. :) Nash is a big boy and I love it. :) I'm looking forward to the pumpkin patch this year. I'm inviting myself. Thanks.

His chubbiness is just so adorable! I miss that age...2-4 months old is when they get so rolly polly and just so lovable! Not that all ages aren't lovable...but it's before they really start playing and becoming a little person!
