A Must Have for Your Back to Schooler: A Giveaway!

My baby starts preschool next week!!! How did that happen?! How is my first born old enough to leave his Mommy and go to school? I’m heartbroken…I’m anxious…I’m excited…I’m lots of things!!! But, I must admit that I’ve been a little obsessive when thinking about Quinn’s lunches! If he’s going to leave his Mommy 3 days a week, I want to make sure that he takes a piece of home (and fun) with him in his lunch! I want his lunches to be creative…and different…and I want ever kid to be jealous! (just kidding………kind of!) ;)

So, when I came across Easy Lunchboxes, I knew it was the perfect way for me to pack Quinn fun, bento style lunches! EasyLunchBoxesBanner8 With this system, you get to choose one insulated lunch tote…

5_lunchbagsMedium

…and you get 4 bento-style plastic food containers that have 3 sections…and only ONE lid! (so nice for little ones!…and their teachers!)

Containers4PackMedWhen our set came in the mail, I was EXSTATIC! I couldn’t wait to show Quinn his cool lunch box for school. And, to be honest…he was underwhelmed! The solid black cube wasn’t enough for my character-obsessed 3 year old. So, this Momma used some quick brain power and came up with a fabulous idea…Jibbitz. Mammer and Slickpaw took Q to the Crocs Store to pick out characters to his heart’s content…and I punched holes in the strap to insert them all! Voila!… Sept 1-2 011

After some embroidery and attaching a cute name tag that Quinn got as a party favor, his plain black cube was transformed! Isn’t it darling!?Sept 1-2 012 Sept 1-2 013 Sept 1-2 014Now we’re “ready!” (Let’s be honest…I’ll never be ready!) I’m so excited to start making lunches using this great system…and I feel good that I’m helping the environment too. (no baggies!)

What about you?! Are you “ready?” It doesn't matter if you have a child still at home or are an adult that takes your lunches to work, this would be a great and easy way for you to pack a lunch! And, thanks to Easy Lunchboxes, one lucky friend can win one… EasyLunchBoxes_200x300Here’s how to enter…
First entry: Leave a comment saying why you need an Easy Lunchboxes system!
Second entry: Go to www.EasyLunchboxes.com and tell me which color tote you’d choose.
Third entry: “Like” Easy Lunchboxes on Facebook and leave a comment saying ThePoeFam sent you!

So, leave THREE separate comments!!! And, we’ll pick a winner of one container set & one lunch bag on Tuesday, September 7th!!! Good Luck!!!

I do need one (or two) of these handy lunchboxes and containers!! Creighton started preschool two weeks ago and trying to be creative while packing his lunches (and Griffin's for Mother's Day Out) can be tricky and a chore. The containers would help me simplify! Also, I can't find a lunchbox I like for Griffin (Creighton's came with his Pottery Barn backpack) so I'm super excited that you've shared such a great idea and a perfect one for my littlest man. If I don't win, I'm going to order me one anyway.

My daughter is starting kindergarten in 2wks and I just realized packing lunch isn't as simple as bowls from my pantry in the lunch bag attached to her backpack. It requires a degree to figure out the bentos, bots, lunch bags that work. Its 12.18am and I'm seriously panicked.

Life shouldn't be that complicated.

Unknown said...

Oh she'd love the purple bag to go with her purple backpack.
