What is a Mammer?

Mam-mer: proper noun

     1. Quinn & Nash’s Mommy’s mom
     2. one who selflessly puts her life on hold to take care of her daughter and 2 grandsons
     3. adored by Quinn in ways words could never describe
     4. already adored by Nash
     5. adored by Kia & Krozby (who,sadly, wouldn’t get much attention without her)
     5. a cake decorator, game player, house keeper, fun song singer, and shopping buddy
     6. an invaluable help

 

As you can see by the pictures here, Mammer went above and beyond to help make our transition from PoeFam3 to PoeFam4 an easy one. She did anything and everything to make sure Quinn was happy and taken care of…and loved on her newest grandson for countless hours. Because of her extended stay, I was able to get sleep that would not have been had otherwise…and Quinn never once complained about lack of attention. Matt, Quinn, Nash and I are so thankful that she was willing to spend two weeks out of her summer break to be with us…I can honestly say that we would not have been able to do it without her!

Even though her accommodations (which are now on couch cushions or a blow up mattress in the playroom) are not the  most ideal anymore, she never once complains…and it is obvious that she truly enjoys spending the time with our little family! Thank you, Mammer, for always going above and beyond to help us. We all love you a bushel and a peck and we’re missin’ you already!!!
