ThePoeFam3

362In these last days as thePoeFam3, I/we…
had fun doing normal things
stayed at home in our PJs all day long
ate out a BUNCH
went to swim lessons everyday for 2 weeks
LAUGHED at our hilarious 3 year old
enjoyed long baths and showers
talked about Nash and about how he’d be here soon
SPOILED our first born ROTTEN
slept in (all of us until 8:30 on Friday! WOW!!!)
ate yummy watermelon
watched my belly move
watched Toy Story 1 and 2 more times than I could count
made a Welcome Home sign for Nash
took advantage of “me” time while Daddy took care of Quinn
packed a cool “Big Brother bag”
cried a little here and there
put together strollers, bouncy seats and more
got a pedicure
went on 2 fun movie dates with just my husband
filled out pages in Nash’s baby book
napped
sat around as a family and listened to all of “Nash’s songs!”
ate lots of candy
enjoyed quiet mornings reading my Bible
cried a little more
piddled on the computer (since my hubby got me a new one!!! WOO HOO!!)
welcomed ALL of the grandparents into town to celebrate Nash’s birthday
went on a last family date as ThePoeFam3
packed
tucked our only child into bed one last time

…and, now we’re ready!!! Tomorrow is the day…Nash’s BIRTHDAY! I can’t believe it! I’m ready…I think. I’m a little anxious…about the birth and about the thought of loving another as much as I love his Big Brother! But, I know it’s going to happen…and, TOMORROW is the day! STAY TUNED for pictures of a brand new baby boy! AHHHHHHHH! Goodnight.

Exited for you! When Charlie was about two days old and I was still in the hospital I unleashed all of the tears-because I knew after meeting her that I loved her as much as her brother...AND I knew God could give me enough of myself for both of my babies. He does amazing things in our hearts. He spreads the sacrificial and complete love between children. I don't know how but He does! Praying for you today :)
