In my 20's:
I celebrated a birthday in the new millennium. I laughed with roommates.
I served as the treasurer of Chi Omega and wrote the largest checks I'll EVER write.
I learned to really love naps.
I bought Boon's Farm on my 21st birthday! ha.
I survived {what I thought was} heartbreak.
I finished student teaching.
I started to truly long for a relationship with Jesus Christ.
I met Matthew Jared Poe. I graduated from Baylor University.
I fell in REAL love.
I lived at my parent's house again.
I got a job as a first grade teacher. I got engaged.
I traded in my red Camaro.*sniff*
I made my own payments.
I planned a wedding.
I was a bridesmaid 8 times.
I gained the title, wife.
I traveled to Italy, New York (twice), Las Vegas, Mexico, New Orleans, Cali and Cleveland…
(…and LOTS of Texas places in between)
I became a youth pastor's wife.
I said goodbye to F*R*I*E*N*D*S.
I got another puppy.
I lived in 4 different places with my husband...including our first home. I taught for 5 1/2 years.
I learned to depend on Google and DVR.
I made new friends...and kept the old ones too.
I learned how to cook...and clean.
I became a bargain shopper.
I stayed in the hospital with my husband for 6 days.
I got pregnant.
I gained the title, Mommy.
I fell in REAL love again.
I became a stay-at-home mom.
I was married for 6 1/2 years. (and counting)
I gained the title, Aunt.
I got pregnant with my second baby.
...while {almost} always loving life!

In my 30s:
I will celebrate my big boy turning 3 (and then 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13!)
I will give birth to our second baby.
My heart will double.
(Lord willing,) I will give birth to our third baby.
Our family will be complete.
We will live in a different house.
We will travel more.
I will make new friends...and keep the old ones too.
I will strive to love Jesus more everyday.
I will become a better wife.
I will become a better Mommy.
I will start taking better care of myself...by (dare I say it) working out.
I will celebrate my 7th anniversary (all the way to my 16th!)
...and, I'll be happy
Who could be sad about turning 30?! NOT ME! I’m so happy, but I can only hope that my next decade will be as sweet as my last!
Happy NEW DECADE to me!
