Another Year of Thankfulness

This year, at Thanksgiving, I am reminded of how many things I have to be thankful for...it's ridiculous how blessed I am...
Jesus Christ, my Savior my husband of 5 years my precious Quinn parents that love us and eachother our beautiful home our church friends that we couldn't live without our playgroupTwo-Five Cloth our sweet puppies cell phones diet coke DVR Taco Bueno Yo Gabba Gabba (oh the things I accomplish when he's watching an episode) mail BLOGS shopping with my guys my new love for coffee songs that give me chills yummy smelling candles gummy candybeing a stay at home mom hot air balloons the smell of Pampers & Baby Magic TAKING A LONG SHOWER cold weather
...{and way too many more to list}

We started off our Thanksgiving morning like every other American family...in our PJ's watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I still get excited to watch it every year and love the Rockettes the very best! ...Dad thought we needed to document our morning...we all protested, but, I must admit, the picture turned out pretty darn cute...
Then, we loaded up the car and headed to San Angelo to Matt's Mimi's house. I feel very fortunate that we never have to choose which family to be with on Thanksgiving Day...ever since I've been a Poe, the Poe Family has been gracious enough to let my parents come as well...and they were immediately welcomed with open arms! It makes it fun for all of us...

But, this Thanksgiving was going to be a little different. Mimi got remarried to her High School sweetheart a few months ago, and this holiday was going to include 42 of his and her family members...WOW!

This is what the food table looks like when you're feeding the masses...Who do you think that is snaking a bite of ham!?!?!...
And, here is my little man enjoying his first real Thanksgiving feast...last year it was baby food and breast milk...
This year it was turkey, cranberry sauce, potatoes, fruit salad... and an extra sugary turkey cookie...YUMMY!...
"Yick it!" (lick it) Quinn would say...and even shared a bite with daddy... And he had enough extra sugar to go around...
Little Miss Brenna is Quinn's 2nd cousin that is 3 months older than him...they were cute together this year...here he is noticing her pretty eyes...

...and here she is not to fond of him "noticing" them ... a.k.a. poking them! Quinn thought it was hilarious....TOOT! .... They read and played...while Mimi played with my hair...she has magic fingers!!!...

Matt and Derin always go outside to throw the football after the meal...and they had an extra teammate this year... ...and that extra teammate didn't really want to share the "bootball" with them...
Then it was time for family pictures...

4 generations...
Matt loves to think that he's Mimi's favorite...since he was the first grandchild and only grandson!... (She has 5 granddaughters)
All 42 of us...

Your pictures always come out so well! What lenses do you use with your Canon Rebel?

You're going to laugh, but I JUST realized Bethanie married Derin DePalermo. Oh my! She picked a sweet one.
