All Aboard!

On Saturday morning, Matt, Q and I loaded up the car and headed to historic downtown Grapevine to meet some friends so that we could ride the North Pole Express. We were so excited to take Quinn on a real "Thomas" and had been looking forward to it for weeks! When we got there, the event did not disappoint...Matt and I started in the little gift shop and got Q a train whistle. Then we waited in line for a while to go into a big tent where we were entertained with a wanna-be Hannah Montana (bless her heart) and her crew singing all kinds of Christmas songs! After trying to maintain our boys for some time, we were told that it was time to board the train. So we lined up to exit the tent...and guess what we saw!?!?!? SNOW! Granted, it was 60 something degrees, but the effect with all of the pine trees surrounding us was so fun and unexpected. After an "all aboard" we hopped on our own "Polar Express" ...and it really wasn't much different from the movie. (minus the beautiful outside scenery!) The boys were so precious on the train...Quinn loved looking outside and playing with his Thomas as we rode. Towards the end of our ride, we were surprised with a visit from SANTA and, shortly after, the conductor punching our tickets. What a fun Christmas outing and first train ride for our little man!

Our sweet little passenger... And the attempted photo shoots after ride...
{The Poe Fam, The Wilson Fam, The Stock Fam and The Northcutt Fam}
Sweet Tanner was in the posing mood...and oh so precious...
I loved watching the Daddy's struggle to contain their boys...what we encounter with EVERY playgroup photo shot...but, I think the pics turned out pretty cute! ...
An after lunch pic in front of Kincaid's Burgers...YUM...
Annie, Kara and Meredith...It was so much fun to go on this Christmas ride with you! I loved having all of our boys together and the daddies there too! You are all so very precious to us!
