Matt, Quinn, Grammer and I loaded up the car on Saturday morning and headed to good 'ol Canton, Texas. (Slickpaw was supposed to come too, but he wasn't feeling well!) Since I was about Quinn's age when I went to Canton for the first time, we felt that it was the perfect time to take the little man and give him his first Canton Corn Dog, Sausage on a Stick and Freshly Squeezed Lemonade. (The food is the MAIN reason Matt goes, so we thought Q might enjoy it as well!) After lots of walking, shopping, eating, a 45 minute stroller nap for Quinn, running into carts, scooters, dog strollers and hundreds of people, and having a grand day, we decided to head back home. I got some really great Christmas decorations (mainly at a PRECIOUS spot called Lauriannas...it's a must go!) and Matt got he and Q matching UT T's...but our favorite find was the MASSIVE "Q." Since Quinn has a Q wall, he had to have it...it came off of an old barn in west Texas (cool!) and the price was right! We plan on putting a mirror or cork board in the middle of it and hanging it in Quinn's room very soon! ...I look forward to the next time we go back to Canton...hopefully with cooler temps!

Quinn was such a good boy and gave us lots of lovin' in between stroller rides...

Ah, Canton! I haven't been in ages, but I could always keep K from whining with lemonade and a bag of peanuts.
