While in Abilene, my sweet little man got Pharyngitis. Sounds nasty, doesn't it? {Pharyngitis is, in most cases, a painful inflammation of the pharynx, and is colloquially referred to as a sore throat. Infection of the tonsils (tonsillitis) and/or larynx (laryngitis) may occur simultaneously.}Anyway, he was miserable...coughing, puffy little eyes {see pictures!}, yucky nose, throwing up, etc. We went to a 'doc in a box' in Abilene and got prescribed "bubble gum medicine" (ammoxicilin). He LOVES it so much and repeats "bubble" over and over as I'm getting ready to give it to him. Being sick lasted horribly for about three days and the cough and yucky nose are lingering still! ... But, we're so glad that our sick little baby isn't so sick any more. It isn't fun to be away from home and feeling bad! :(
