Camp is COOL!

The past two years, church camp has been a little different for me. Last year, Q was tiny...and this year, he's just everywhere! ... So, I participate in as much as I can! ... Matt went to Junior High Camp first. It was the 16th through the 20th and was in Brownwood. Q and I were in Abilene and missed him so much! ... Then, Matt went home for a day (to re-pack and try to get a little rest) and left the next morning for High School Camp in Abilene. Q and I were so excited to see him! We made lots of trips to McMurry University to see him and all of the youth. Everyone seemed to have a great time, but Matt is exhausted from 10 straight days of church camp! Can you imagine it? Bunk beds, gross food, sweaty recreation, etc, etc...so fun but so tiring!

Two-five made an appearance at all of the Horizon Camps this summer! On Tuesday, they show a video about Two-Five and encourage the kids to make a difference in the lives of others. It gave me chills and seeing so many people in Two-Five shirts the next day was exciting....

The booth on "Two-Five Tuesday!" ... Q enjoying a corn dog at camp...
Matt and I have always loved holding Q while we sing praise and worship...from the time he was tiny to now! This picture is so sweet to me...and Q was just loving listening to his Daddy sing to Jesus!!!...
The week ended on Matt's 31st birthday! I had all of the youth wear party hats and brought balloons...Q tried to get into the birthday spirit for his Daddy!!!...

Matt as he "scootered" into the room...seeing all of us in party hats as we sang to him! He and about 15 of the guys were dubbed the "Scooter Posse." This is the third year that they've been known for scottering around camp...but, this year they had Two-Five design shirts...really fun! The "Scooter Posse" is always famous at camp!
My little "Flavor Flav" wearing all of the kid's nametags...
