Quinn's Lovey!?

Those of you that know Quinn, know that he is the happiest, "smileyest" baby... that is, when he's with his mommy and daddy. Take him away from us, and things quickly seem to turn south! Quinn is slowly growing out of his separation anxiety at church and we are SO proud of him. Today, when we got home, he found the golf ball that his daddy gave him a few weeks back. This particular yellow golf ball had proved to be a fun toy but there hadn't been an attachment. Since about 4:00 on Sunday afternoon, the golf ball remained glued in Q's hand...if he dropped it, he quickly picked it up to hold it again. It stayed in his hand through dinner, during the car ride and the whole time in the nursery while we were at Life Group. He then held it as he slept on the ride home and as we put on his jammies. After that, it was time to eat to go to bed, so he was happy to drop it...but, we'll see if he 'needs' it again today. If it becomes our ticket to a happy baby, I'll be happy to buy dozens of yellow golf balls!

I love it! As much as Kelly plays golf, he would be so proud if Hudson's lovey was a golf ball! :)

Thats pretty funny! The most simple things are what they entertain themselves with! My friend Sarah just posted "her favorite first" from her son. It made me think of yall and the first time Q says the same thing how adorable it will be. Here is the link: http://thefamilywilliams.blogspot.com/2008/02/best-first-ever.html cant wait to read about when he says the same thing to yall one day!

Hate to tell you this but Luke does the same thing. He's almost 4. He will NOT put down the desired "item of the day" for anything. Even while peeing, eating, sleeping, putting on clothes. I've just figured it's a security toy for them. Just get ready, Quinn will probably go through lots of security toys, but hey if it keeps him happy....
