"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." -Abraham Lincoln

Being a mommy definitely makes birthdays different...on the down side, there's no sleeping in, no peaceful dinner, no shopping 'til you drop!... But, on the upside, I had a little man to celebrate with me, to help me open my presents, and to remind me that everything is happier when a little baby is by your side! ... My 28th was great! My parents came in town (of course) and we had lots of good food and too many amazing presents. My favorites had to be ...

*The onesie that Matt made for Q to wear...it says "Happy Birthday Mommy" on it!

*My 2006 blog book! (with 2007 to come soon) It is AMAZING!

and

* My beautiful new Sid Dickens plaque!

Our anual "nose picture!" Last year, there was a little guy in between us but he wasn't quite as squirmy as he was this year! :)
