No More Monkey Business, PLEASE!

What a fun Halloween we had. Quinn was the cutest baby in the world (if you're asking my opinion) in his monkey costume and got the oohs and aahs of everyone that saw him. ... Look at some of the festivities from the past week...

(Above are his pics we had taken...we had banana muffins, banana pudding, banana splits and lots of bananas for breakfast for a long while at our house! )

Here is Quinn and his classmates at the Tricycle Parade...

Halloween night...
If I were you, I wouldn't smell those little baby feet...they really are stinky!!! Can you imagine what I have to look forward to when those precious baby stinky feet turn 14!?

Our Fall Fest Family Pic...
After the festival, we came home, got Quinn in his jammies and put to bed and started packing to leave for Matt's grandmother's funeral. As Matt made a run to the store, and I'm in my closet packing for California weather, I hear a weird sound through the monitor and then Quinn starts fussing. I go in his room to find him covered in throw up and his bed was soaked. It was horrible!!! Then, when Matt got home, it happened again...and continued to happen twice more as we were calling the doctor. Dr. G assured us that it was Rotovirus and should run its course in 12-24 hours. So, the entire night consisted of a very sick little baby. We slept on the couch and would make frequent trips to the sink. It was so sad to see my baby lifeless. I would cry every time he would get sick and just pray that the nightmare would end! ... So, at about 6, Matt got some Pedialyte and Quinn has since taken 4 ounces. He's happy...bouncing in his Jumparoo and watching Praise Baby! Thank you, Jesus. So, our flight leaves tonight and we are hoping that my happy, smiling baby stays around! Pray for us as we fly with a recovering 7 month old, as Matt's family deals with another loss, and as we hope to avoid getting the sickness that Quinn had! ... Whew...what a Halloween...one full of tricks and treats...one we'll never forget!!!

And, here he is this morning...ALL BETTER!!!...

Holy cow! You have had a whirlwind the past couple of days!

First of all, Quinn is the cutest monkey I have ever seen. I'm in the mood for banana bread now. YUM! The kids in our preschool here at church had a
Halloween parade for us the other day, but NONE of them rival Quinn's cuteness!

Second of all, I'm SO glad he's doing better and will be praying for y'all as you travel. I hope he STAYS well and that none of you get sick.

Third, tell Matt's family how very sorry I am about their loss. I will be praying for all of you!!

And LAST of all...I miss you and hope we can get together soon!!!
Love ya! :)

When I think you've outdone yourself, you go and put your kid in a monkey outfit! :)

How cute Quinn is as a little monkey! I am so sorry to hear he was so sick. There is nothing worse than watching your little baby be so sick and not be able to do anything about it. Willie has an ear infection and horrible cough and Jackie Rose has the cough too. YUCK. There was many a night I had to change the baby sheets because the babies got sick, hated and still hate those days!We will pray for you all on your trip to Cali. I am so sorry for another lose in your family.

So sad that he was soooo sick. :( It's 7:00 now--I hope you're on the plane, ready for a good little flight. I'll say a prayer for your health & travels, and for Matt's family.

I hope your flight went well! Poor Quinn, and poor y'all. I bet you're exhausted. But all worth it for that cute monkey on Halloween!

I know I have asked you this before, but where do you get all of Quinn's pictures taken?? If you take them yourself, can I hire you? Seriously?!? You should think about starting up a photography business. I will be your first customer!!

Oh yeah! He is FOR SURE the cutest monkey ever!! Is he looking for a poodle girl friend??
