"You are my I LOVE YOU!"

I am your parent; You are my child.
I am your quiet place; You are my wild.
I am your calm face; You are my giggle.
I am your wait; You are my wiggle.
I am your audience; You are my clown.
I am your London Bridge; You are my falling down.
I am your carrot sticks; You are my licorice.
I am your dandelion; You are my first wish.
I am your dinner; You are my chocolate cake.
I am your bedtime; You are my wide awake.
I am your finish line; You are my race.
I am your praying hands; You are my saving grace.
I am your favorite book; You are my new lines.
I am your night light; You are my starshine.
I am your lullaby; You are my peekaboo.
I am your goodnight kiss. You are my I love you.

Do I really make faces like this?
Sweet booties that are hand crocheted.
I just want to eat up these little pockets!

Yesterday, I had my sweet school shower. My teacher friends (1st and 2nd grade) went above and beyond to make the event so special and so unique for Kim and I. Since there are seven of us pregnant at my school right now, we have been put in groups for showers so there won't be SOOO many! The theme was "You are my I LOVE YOU!" based on the sweet book. The room was decorated to the 9's and the gifts were so amazing. I am so blessed to have such sweet friends at school and loved every part of my shower. I truly can't wait to meet my "chocolate cake!"
And, on that note...it looks like (unless he decides to come earlier) we will be meeting our little man on Wednesday, March 28th! My doc thinks that he is getting big very quickly and wants to make sure that I don't have to have a c-section. So, I'm planning on being induced on that day! Can you believe that it will be less that two weeks and we'll be holding our little Quinn! I just can't imagine!

SO sweet. Seriously--they went all out! It makes me feel like a loser for the showers we do at work. Cake and gifts. That's it. If you're lucky, and he's in town, Mr. P. stops in, but that's it! Everything looks so pretty. I really can't believe how nice it all looks and how much they put into it! Well, it's for real. And you don't look that huge to me. Maybe you're still hiding him well. :)

We saw your mom and dad at Rosa's earlier this evening. (Taco Tuesday is a great day to go there!) Kay Rita showed us her pictures of Quinn, and he is simply beautiful!! I'm going to give your blog site address to Stephanie. You were one of her favorite Mothers' Day Out children, Brittany, and this will make her feel so old! Her boys are 4 1/2 and 6, and I assured Kay Rita and Gary that little boys are absolutely the best. They agreed immediately.

We are so happy for the three of you!

Love,
