This makes it real...

Yesterday I met Baby Haylie...the daughter of my sweet friend Michelle. Since she delivered at the hospital that Baby Poe will be delivered, it made things very real. I can't believe that, one day in the very near future, Matt and I will be holding our baby in a room very similar. Haylie was so precious and it made me very excited for end of March/beginning of April to get here. ... But for now, I'm counting down until the first week in November. That's when we find out if Baby Poe is an "innie" or an "outie!" I am so eager to get the nursery started and to start buying clothes and toys. Matt and I actually made a pretty bold move and bought the little boy bedding that we would use IF it is, in fact, a boy. Pottery Barn was selling out quickly and we knew that if we waited until November, it would be gone. While we were there, we got a gorgeous changing table at an amazing discounted price. So, I now have the baby's room set up with all of his/her things on the changing table. It's crazy to walk in there and see baby things. We're having a baby...I just don't know if that statement is real to me yet!!! WOW! And here is our new changing table and all of the gifts from sweet friends and family already...

Michelle looks great!!! So exciting for her! Haylie does look sweet. Weird to think about you in a bed like that after your baby is born. It is getting real!
